Online Orders

Ordering is simple and safe. Just browse our products, click on 'Add to Cart' when you see something you like and when you're done shopping just select 'Checkout' from the menu bar or from within your shopping cart.

After a few simple steps, (entering your email, delivery address and other optional details) you will be taken to payment section where you can choose to pay securely by Credit/Debit card, paypal, Cheque or select to phone your order in. Our on-line payment system for cards is protected by the latest 128 bit SSL technology (Look for the padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser window to confirm this - it will appear when you are entering your card details) so you can be sure that your payment details are in safe hands.

Phone & Mail Orders

Alternatively, if you prefer you can always phone your order through to us and pay over the phone by Debit/Credit card or any of the methods listed above.

Payment (via credit/debit card) is never taken until we are ready to despatch your item. This also applies to back orders. The only time we will ever take payment before despatch is when a deposit is required (this only applies to very large back orders where stock has to be purchased for you in advance and we will confirm this with you before doing so).

Back Order Cancellation & Refunds

Important: You have 14 days to cancel any Back Order (items not in stock). If you cancel it after 14 days has elapsed any deposit already paid will NOT be refundable as stock will have been purchased and allocated for your order and is non-returnable. Please see the information at the bottom of this page for the terms of 'ordinary' order cancellations and refunds.

Delivery Times & Shipping Costs

Delivery Times

Our aim is to deliver all our orders to you as fast as possible, we aim to despatch your order within 48 hours (for 'in stock' items); this normally means delivery times of:

  • 1-3 days (for all UK orders) *
  • 5-7 days (for all of Europe)
  • 10-14 days (for the USA and rest of the world)

* We also offer a NEXT DAY service for mainland UK customers at an additional cost. (Excludes Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scottish Highlands). 

 Next Day delivery orders are available:

Monday to Friday -  PLEASE NOTE: ALL NEXT DAY orders MUST be received before 1.00pm in order to be processed in time for the next day delivery. Orders placed after 1pm will be sent the following day on a Next Day service. Next Day orders placed on a Friday prior to 1pm will arrive Monday except for Bank Holidays, we do not have a Saturday Delivery Service. Next Day orders placed over the weekend will be despatched Monday (except Bank Holidays) and arrive Tuesday the week following.

We cannot guarantee delivery on weekends or bank holidays.

Delays

Sometimes delays are unavoidable - we will always try and let you know if there is a problem but we would ask you to please contact us if you have any concerns over your order. Items that are out of stock: please allow at least 28 days for delivery. Although we always strive to meet our delivery targets we would ask that special consideration be given during busy times, especially at Christmas - when both ourselves and all delivery agents will be struggling to meet demand across the country. We recommend that you order as early as possible to avoid potential delays.

Shipping Costs

We are pleased to offer FREE DELIVERY on all UK mainland orders on purchases over £25.00.  (Standard 2-3 Day Delivery Service)

Next Day and all International order shipping costs are charged depending on the total weight of the order and are calculated automatically when you select a shipping option in your order basket.


Additional Information For International (NON-UK) Customers

We welcome orders from international customers however please note that A4CARD is not responsible for any customs duty or tax applicable to your order that your own country's customs authority may charge you. We always provide all the relevant paperwork neccessary for your country but we are unable to quote, estimate, refund or enter into any correspondance about your country's laws regarding imports and duties that may be payable.

Returns & Problems

If you have any problems whatsoever we want to hear from you, we are committed to your 100% satisfaction with our service!

General Returns

In the unlikely event you wish to return your purchase we will glady refund  the original item cost LESS 30% if you rec'd FREE Postage or LESS the original postage paid (which ever is applicable), provided the item is returned to us within 7 days of purchase and is unopened (inner seal) and in the same condition it was sent in. If your item is returned after the 7 days we reserve the right to offer a Credit Note.

If you wish to exchange your item and you were entitled to Free postage. then you will be charged an additional 30% of the replacement item cost to cover postage.  If postage charge was made, then 10% handeling costs plus the origional postal charge will be charged. Please note: The cost of the original shipping charge (if paid) and your costs for returning an item will not be refunded by us. We reserve the right to offer an exchange or credit note as an alternative.

Damaged or Faulty Returns

In the event that your item arrives damaged or is faulty please contact us by phone or email to arrange a returnwithin 7 days. Once the item has been received back and confirmed to be damaged or faulty we will issue a replacement or refund, depending on what you decide. Please note: All damaged or Faulty goods must be reported and returned to us within 7 days to be eligible for a replacement or refund.  If returned after 7 days then we reserve the right to offer a credit note.  When returning damaged items, please send via 2nd class Standard Mail.

Non-Delivery

Please note that in the case of non-delivery (i.e. we tried to deliver your order but could not, or you failed to collect it from a local depot after an attempted delivery) and the item is returned to us then you will be charged for a re-delivery at additional cost if you choose to have the item sent back out to you. If you wish to cancel the order following a non-delivery then you will be refunded the cost of the goods minus a 20% administration fee.  Your initial Postage costs will not be refunded.
